A Strangeness In Muncie

 I do not know what to make of this headline: Muncie's Casa Mexican Grill closed; new downtown restaurant on the way 

I ate there a couple of weeks ago and everything looked fine.

They have been sending me weekly menu offerings, there was nothing about a shut-down in the last one.

A few weeks ago, I got into a conversation with a woman on the bus. She siad two things that stuck with me: that ICE had been visiting Muncie and that her husband was scared to go outside. Her husband had been born in Spain.

I do not know of any connection between the two events. In other cities, ICE raids have damaged Mexican-owned businesses.

La Casa Will be missed.

This will be my only post today. I have been nursing a headache all day. All I have managed is to feed myself and write a few paragraphs for "Chasing Ashes".
