The Broken Earth Trilogy 1/21/21

 What can I say about N.K. Jemisin's Broken Earth Trilogy? She won the 2016 Hugo Award for The Fifth Season, the 2017 Hugo Award for The Obelisk Gate, and The Stone Sky won the 2018 Hugo Award. She makes a brilliant use of the second person. She grabs one by the lapels with the multiple openings in The Fifth Season. Nor does she really let go: she invests her science fiction/fantasy with such inner lives as to make them compelling. Read.
