I recall Nuvo touting light rail back in August of 2001. Still, nothing done. Typical Indiana attitude: we're just fine, that sinking feeling is just in your imagination.
Now here is more news from last week I am just getting to - just like the State of Indiana puts off modernizing our infrastructure.
Bill to explore passenger rail expansion to be heard on Indiana Senate floor:
The commission would look for ways to expand Indiana’s rail system and educate local governments and the public about the advantages of passenger rail service.
Steven Coxhead points out many Hoosiers need a car to get across Indiana, and he believes that needs to change.
With our luck the Indiana General Assembly will explore just like Umberto Nobile.
