Writing: Gigantic Sequins

Another journal that got my "Colonel Tom" is Gigantic Sequins. Just saying for full disclosure.

Probably not a god fit for my story but I liked their attitude:

......We're known for the quality fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, art, & comics we print as well as our unique design & aesthetic. Our editors like to publish writers & artists who have their hands in various sorts of figurative creative cookie jars, as well as writers & artists at a variety of different stages in their careers. For ten years, we published two issues each year, one in the summer and one in the winter, and moving forward, GS will come out annually for now. Our all-volunteer staff helps cultivate a space for writing & art that reaches beyond the printed literary arts & into other parts of our neighborhoods....

The compensation comes in magazine copies, but they do have a poetry and flash fiction contest.

They also have something I have yet to see elsewhere, a space for publishing teenagers. It is called Teen Sequins and has a FAQ. If we want teens to read, should not there be a place for teens to publish their writing? Something, again, that I did not know of existing when I was a teen.
