I got out of work before 2 pm. it was a slow day that took too long. From there I grabbed the #2 to Payless. I wanted to do my lamb breast tonight. I got home around 3:30. I ate, I piddled with music and email and I walked down to McClure's around 5 pm. My knee ached, and that is when I decided to do a bad thing.
I did not walk up Broadway to the polling place and vote.
Instead, I started the lamb, ate again, and downloaded music. I did not set a good example, did I?
And now I am going to work on my blog posts.
Oh, yeah today is Albert Camus' birthday. I found that out from LitHub, which linked to its Reading Camus' The Plague in the Midst of a Pandemic.
One of my Substack subscriptions alerted me that Junot Diaz has a Substack now: StoryWorlds with Junot Díaz. I have read two of his novels, and some of his nonfiction. This one I am looking forward to reading. I suggest you check him out.
