How I started Thursday:
I did a job interview yesterday morning. I can hope, but I really liked the guy who interviewed me and heard an interesting story.
Now I am all in favor of universal health care
From the job interview, I walked over to Granville to catch the bus. If I caught the northbound bus, I was going to CVS and get my prescription filled. The southbound meant groceries at Payless.
It was the southbound bus. I used up all of my $35 in food stamps yesterday. Yeah, that is for a month,
Back here around 11, I worked for a while on a project, before heading over to Target to get my antibiotics prescription.
Except, I did not. WellNow is not on the HIP list for providers. No prescription.
Well, I have my saline spray and I see the doctor on Monday. But this is nuts, what if it were a life-threatening problem? My doctor's nurse suggested I get a coupon from a place whose name now eludes me. It seems to me, universal care would mean any valid prescription would be filled. What we have is just nuts.
Working until my eyes got crinkly
That is how I felt when I stopped at 11 on the project I have been working on this week. Too tired to do any more writing, but I did knock off three more job applications.
What I am doing now
Waiting for the rain to stop. I put together a bag of books to sell. I have used up all the Hitachi paycheck and have enough from s/social s/security to pay this week's rent. Next week's is up in the air. T2 promised to ride to my rescue. But I am selling books, if anyone will take them.
Then I need to talk to food stamps.
Then I need to get out my china and start the work on selling that.
No writing today, except these reports.
