Or as much of one as I will have for the foreseeable future.
People setting off fireworks like popcorn right now, 9:43 pm.
I slept in until 7 AM.
Breakfasted, I read my email. I went through the magazines I intended to send submissions today. They all had fees, I am broke, so they all got rescheduled.
I listened to WXRT most of the day. My law school radio station.
I spent the morning revising Colonel Tom, again. It will be the last time. The only thing left me would be to scrap the whole thing. Well, it is more straightforward now. What I could not do was insert page numbers. I finally gave up.
I went down to McClure's for RC Cola and had lunch when I came back.
I called KH to see if he could do the paginating for me. Felt stupid but thankful for friends.
Somewhere along the line I did some googling and found the Rebus TV show. Prison finally gave me opportun.ty and time to read Ian Rankin. I had to watch the show. I thought it good even though I watched it on my phone.
I called K. Then I dined in my room. I got on a kick f googling people. This time it was guys from Scouts and law school professors. It feels very strange having my school gone.
Then I started updating this blog. With this post, I finish that job.
I got an email from E and she gave me the idea for this as the song of the day:
Good to have air conditioning.
