I spoke with E- last night. I have not had a letter from her because she not written one. Nothing more nefarious than that. She will call the District Court for me. I have no idea why she does these things for me. I never understood why I had friends - or just people who did not dislike me. My very oldest default position toward others was that they dislike me. I have even less of an understanding why people remain my friends when11 years ago I set out to make myself utterly unlikeable, a moral leper. Some people are kinder than we deserve.
