Alasdair Gray Died

Back in 2012 or 13 I found Alasdair Gray's Lanark a Life In 4 Books. I did not expect much from the cover and then I read the thing and it was a serious kick in the head.  Now he is dead. Actually, dead a few years. Which I offer as another example of how prisoners are kept ignorant of the outside world.

But you've not heard of him?  Or you're wondering why he was such a learning experience for me? Then read what he did for Glasgow, Scotland and think of how that treatment could be applied to the wastelands of the American Midwest and, in particular, Indiana..

More abuot Gray, later when I get the earlier stuff from my journal online. Meanwhile -  consider Gray Day.
