I went to Kokomo yesterday and about met my doom. I drove almost to Kokomo in the morning, only to run out of time to get back for my group therapy. This got me back with 30 minutes left, ate at Subway, and I did the group therapy. No notes, we just chattered, mostly about age and relationships. Last night, when I woke up and could not sleep, I thought a lot more about this and will write a separate post on that. I cancelled my physical therapy in the morning, then I passed on the parish meeting because I was exhausted and in pain. Not the back, but my feet were aching. They still are throbbing, a little, and the toes numb. I swear they are red.
I got home a little around 5:30, and went to sleep and woke around 8:40. Then, I tried going back to sleep, but then got up and started deleting email. Went back to sleep around 12:30. It is now 6:33.
I swear Kokomo is going to kill me. I think it almost did. Anyway, documents were filed with the court and a subpoena served.
Oh, I did learn Muncie has an Asian market.
Thursday, Jennifer came over to for the Arts Walk. I rented the car that took me to Muncie. Work was another short day. Pretty sure I left the cooks annoyed, they started late with the mixing bowl and were not finished when I was done with everything else.
I was disappointed with the Arts Walk, the most anemic I have ever seen. Jennifer had a good time, though, or so I think. She cannot do much in the way of walking. We had dinner at Little Chicagos. She had linguine in clam sauce and I had the Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were excellent.
There were more people at the May Day protest than at the Arts Walk. Jennifer took pics for me, but has not sent them to me,
Some of what I read Thursday is below.
Wednesday was another day when I came home too tired to do anything useful.
