I got home to a man from the property management company here to work on the stove. I got off at 2 pm and walked home with the knee hurting and was bloody tired. Three hours later, I went through the email and wrote up a few posts. No going to the grocery, no calling Meridian Health.
YouTube showed me Fern Brady, and I took a chance and I have fallen in love.
Sheila Brown turned me onto Mott the Hoople back in high school, and I remain a fan of the band as well as Ian Hunter. I did not know yesterday was his birthday until I read 5 Enduring Songs Written and Sung by Mott the Hoople Frontman and Solo Star Ian Hunter by Matt Friedlander.
Ian Hunter, the prolific British singer/songwriter and musician who led the popular glam-rock band Mott the Hoople before launching a long solo career, celebrated his 85th birthday on June 3, 2024.
And that is where I stopped last night. Chrome locked up and I went to bed.
Spent quite a while talking to DM last night on the new phone.
I got on a Ronnie Dawson binge last night that continued until this morning.
The thought last night was that I could get to work on the law review article. but did not happen. I found a Kansas Supreme Court case that is very, very long.
Now, I need to get dressed for work. I will probably be late.
I was not late for work, but I was late catching the bus home. I meant to go see CC, but I just lost steam and her phone was off. She sent me a bothersome text last night that I did not see until this morning. I got a text this afternoon, so I know she is still alive.
I had the strangest thing happened at work. Around 8 am, we usually take a 15-minute break and then lunch at 10 am. Today, I somehow got the idea that it was lunch time when it was only 8 am. I clocked out, ate my lunch and then came back in wondering why no one else was eating their lunches. When I looked at the clock, I wondered what was going on. They were all running behind now. For about twenty minutes, I tried figuring out what was going on. Then it came to me that my brain had seen 10 on the clock, even though my eyes could not have seen that number. I actually felt that it was two hours later than it was. I also had a slight pressure in my head and what felt like sinus drainage.
When I got home, I napped for about 90 minutes before catching the bus to the westside Payless. Then it was back for a bit of dinner and to start writing.
It is warm and humid and I have been smoking too many cigarettes.
So that is where Amelia Earhart went: The Biggest Crabs In the World May Have Eaten Amelia Earhart.
This is the kind of thing Star Wars (Marvel and DC and any other IP film franchise) needs: `‘The Acolyte’ Joins ‘Andor’ as Another ‘Star Wars’ Success on Disney+: TV Review. Stop playing to the fanboys!
I still need to order the CPAP supplies.
And I seem to have lost my umbrella. I cannot remember where I had it last.
