I got home late. There was the walk to the sheriff's and then the walk back to 8th and Batavia. One good thing was getting myself a block of cheese and nuts at the 12th Street Dollar General. Oh, yeah, I saw the hawk on the way to and from the sheriff's. On the way back it was on the ground, walking about. I suspect it was hunting for grasshoppers – they are abundant right now. Being within 10 feet of the bird, I feel 99% certain it is a Cooper's hawk.
Dinner was over-cooked – both too bland and too spicy.
Email done. Work on MW's database was started, data entry tonight.
L'Esprit Literary Review rejected both Between the Dead and the Dying and Their Bright Future. This was a bit disturbing as I think they are the best I have done so far, bar one.

Maybe I will do some noodling with my novella. Bedtime in an hour. I did not sleep well last night, and I am tired of being tired at work.
Have a good night.
Oh, yeah, check out these two from The Literary Review: Trial of the Century; The Fraud by Zadie Smith and It’s Not Porn, It’s Literature.
