Death of a Democracy

 Will America follow India into autocracy?

That is the question I had while reading Arundhati Roy's Approaching Gridlock. 

Too much sounds like the platform of the MAGA Republicans. We know that Fox News has lied to its viewers, but it is not the whole of the news media. The rich have gotten overwhelmingly wealthier with our neoliberal capitalism. 

On the other hand, American voters have succumbed to the charms of fascism.

We can hope that stays the same.
