The Indiana Daily Student published Monroe County Prosecutor Erika Oliphant says she may prosecute abortions. I have to agree with Ms. Oliphant's reason:
Oliphant said in the article she is pro-choice and was disappointed by the Supreme Court decision. However, she said she has sworn to support the state constitution and cannot entirely refuse to prosecute a certain crime.
Besides, not prosecuting is not a solution. The only true solution is in amending the federal and Indiana Constitutions to protect the rights of women. That means recruiting and voting for candidates who will vote for such amendments. Sitting st home whining, feeling righteousness without voting only contributes to the problem.
