I posted another selection of Black writers here. Today's post comes from The Rumpus. WHAT TO READ WHEN CELEBRATING BLACK HISTORY. I do not know what it says about me except I am an old ignorant white man that I knew only two of the writers (bell hooks and Zora Neale Hurston) and have read only one (Hurston's memoir - of which I agree with the article's estimation and would say it needs reading if all one has read of Hurston is There Eyes Were Watching God.)
My only defense is there is only so much time and so many books
