Checking Out Confederacy of Dunces

 Yes, John Kennedy Toole's Confederacy of Dunces while in prison.  I had heard of it for years before from people I respected and jumped on the book as soon as I read it. My own views are still in the future of this blog, they are complicated and trying to be succinct will leave me with saying only it's time might be passing. Tom Bissell's The Uneasy Afterlife of “A Confederacy of Dunces” touches on some of my problems with the novel. From Literary Hub comes my reason for posting now on this book, A 1980 Review of A Confederacy of Dunces, which is a short,positive review of a novel which was not new at that time.
