I ignored Ursula K. Le Guin when I was reading science fiction. All I ran across was the Earthsea stories, and after reading Tolkien and Robert E. Howard, I turned my nose up at fantasy. Especially when it came across as a kids book. When I began running across her name in my prison reading, I decided to read her. Yeah, well, long story short, ignoring her was a big mistake. Her science fiction should be, needs to be read, for it is about adult issues written for adults.
When I found out I could get books and writing information on YouTube, I went looking for Le Guin. Here is what I found.
