Working Until I Run Out of Steam

Wednesday was good until I came back from the food stamps office. I worked on "Unintended Consequences of Art" and "Theresa Pressley" until my eyes were burning from the sweat dropping off my forehead. Not just because I was working hard. No, mostly it was the bloody heat and humidity.

Today was supposed to be about doing laundry. First thing in the morning, I was to be out for the laundry. I did not get there until after 3 pm. Instead, I worked on "Unintended Consequences of Art" until my eyes going, and my head was swimming. I knock off 7 pages. There will be some more trimming, but it is in the shape I want it.

With the head getting light - the heat, again - I took a nap. I stuck to a little over an hour. Then I got back here, where it is hot and stuffy. I had a pork sandwich for dinner.

After updating my monitoring software, I did a few blog posts. The question now is do I watch a movie on Tubi or YouTube? It will be only a partial watching. Like last night, I started Safe House (which I liked). Tuesday, it had been Shanghai (passable, but a better movie lurks in it - one with a better paced direction and John Cusack not being so ponderous. What happened to Cusack? The weightier he gets, the duller his acting.)

Another rejection wracked up for "No Ordinary Word":
