I spent yesterday doing laundry and dishes and cooking up a lentil soup, Also, I submitted "When Thomas Kemp" to Necessary Fiction. "Problem Solving" to Blood+Honey and Cottonmouth. No more submissions until I get through some stuff here. I did revisions to "Thomas Kemp" for Necessary Fiction - cutting about 1800 words. The night I finished off with a headache and a South Korean movie, The Swordsman, on YouTube. I recommend it. Oh, I finished off work on part of dad's trust case - that wore out my eyes. I made a trip to the convenience store. CC was to call back, but she did not.
I got in a short walk back from the laundry - it was too long a wait for the bus home. It was warmer than it had been in the morning.

For "120 MPH Down A Blind Alley":
We are writing in regards to your most recent submission to Rock and a Hard Place Magazine. Thank you so much for your interest in our publication, and for sharing your work for our consideration. Unfortunately, your story was not selected for publication.
During our most recent reading period, we received over 150 stories and works of art and the competition was incredibly steep. Due to the volume of stories we received, we regret that we can’t share individual feedback on each story, but know that your work was thoroughly reviewed and given all due consideration.
Please do not be discouraged by this rejection note, and please continue to write. We are one publication and our opinions could very well be wrong. You may submit the same piece to another editor, and it instantly connects–that’s the subjective nature of what we do as creative individuals. While it’s a no from us this time, we encourage you to submit again, and we want to thank you for putting yourselves and your work out there for consideration.
Wishing you all the best in your future writing endeavors..
Sincerely,
-The Rock and a Hard Place Editorial Team

Oh, I had a visit from a deputy reminding me I need to see the Sheriff on May 25.
And such was my Saturday, let us call it a different kind of special:
I spent most of Sunday morning taking the PCRA OFFENDER SECTION Test and then working on my blog post, I take the PCRA OFFENDER SECTION Test.
My stomach has been troublesome this morning, so I did not go to church. Now, I need to file a few things.
A song worth reviving:
And the theme song for the past two days (I got on a short Faces kick, never having listened much to them back in the day):
