I did church this morning. It is the most peaceful time of my week.
Back home, I got that light-headed, nauseous feeling again. I meant to lay down for about an hour. Only I must have tossed and turned and knocked the clock out of the socket. It was almost four hours before I woke up. Still feeling a little rocky.
I made a trip for caffeine and smokes ate dinner and worked on the blog. One item I did not put in a separate post follows.
Top 7 Short Story Collections by Indian Writers from Literary Yard might have given more than a list and thumbnail sketch - such as if they are all available in the States. I do know “Interpreter of Maladies” by Jhumpa Lahiri is available, having read it in prison, and should be read. The movie The Namesake (a great movie) was based on her novel. She is the person, not Salman Rushdie, who introduced me to Indian literature.
Let us remember the world is wide and has much to teach us.
Four a.m. comes quick. I would rather stay here writing, but I need the money.
Good night.
