Well, This Was Thursday

Up slowly this morning, but a few words typed before leaving for work.

From this morning's email came the news of "Problem Solving" and "Colonel Tom" being rejected:

Thank you for your submission to Meetinghouse Magazine and your patience with our review process. Although we must decline your submission this time, we appreciated the chance to consider it.

Thanks again. Best of luck with your future writing.

Sincerely,

Meetinghouse Editorial Team

I do not know why riding the bus makes me sleepy. It just is.

I still like the job. Even more, I like getting paid. I have the rent for the week.

But when I got home at 2:45, I dozed off for around 45 minutes.

After that, I am not really sure what I did. There was a walk down to McClure's around 3. A call to CC, confirming she would not be up for dinner. Some weeding of emails. Starting dinner on the grill, which took too long because I did not put in enough charcoal. Then I went to work on "Love Stinks." Tonight, I got out 1324 words in 3 hours.

No bike riding, there was rain.

Now, I am tired. Shower in the morning. I need to run out to Family Services, who I did talk to tonight. I distilled water for the CPAP machine, so I go to Payless tomorrow.

Good night,
