Good Morning from Muncie

Up after 8, I slept in.

Piddling here for right now, trying to get up to speed, which is far below the speed of sound

Checked out Hauntings, memory and self – art show in Indy, not quite what I expected.

It is cold, but the sun is up. No goosebumps, though.

I do need to get shaking. Laundry needs done. There is "Road Tripping", too.

I read Salman Rushdie says he feels lucky and grateful in first interview since stabbing, which is a report about Rushdies' New Yorker interview.

Of fiction, I read Francine Wittes's Then, Thenner, Thennest. I thought it is a brilliant piece of flash fiction from Fictive Dream.

About writing, I read today's Malinda Lo newsletter, On Beginnings. Dear readers, if any of you are writers, then I suggest you read this newsletter on the ways and troubles of starting a new novel. I think there will be a short post on this—if I can keep Firefox from crashing.

I looked in on Little Steven's Underground Garage.

And here I stop for now. I might as well get something to eat and get to work on “Road Tripping.”

I plan on writing for 2 hours and then doing my laundry.
