Tuesday From the Boring Old Fart

The Ben-Gay helped me sleep. I slept from around 10:30 to 3:30, and then until 5 AM. I think this will be a long day.

"Best of Intentions" got its first rejection:

Thank you for sending us your work. We look forward to reading it. If you made a donation, you have our undying gratitude.

It was a long day. I got cross-wise with my team leader at work.

The attorney got a call, not a visit.

No grocery shopping, but I did stop at McClure's for a sandwich and RC Cola.

After eating the sandwich, and a generous smearing of Ben-Gay, I got onto my email. I deleted a bunch. Tried reading Episode 22: Catherine de Medici, Part 1 before answering a long email from an old friend with a long response. I spoke with KH about my stories and politics and just general BS. E got a short email which inspired the title above.

KH pointed out yesterday's post was a bit of the same-old same-old. Which is one purpose of these Supervised Release posts. I live a boring life because that is the kind of life I want to live. I should say I do not find it all that boring, I am finding much to amuse me and enjoy about being alive. By showing what a quiet life I live voluntarily and purposefully, I hope to also tell everyone I am not skulking in any bushes with illegal intent.

Second, I promised my friends that I would post a daily report so that they knew what was going on with me. I hid my depression from them, I promised not to do so again. This purpose more than any is the most important; the first purpose is a by-blow of this second.

Lastly, I want to make a record of my supervised release. I want the world to know what I have done to integrate into civil society, and I want them to know the assistance given me by others.

I do wish that if you only read the Supervised Release posts that you move your mouse to the right, to the menu, and then down to Posts by Subject. Or click on the links below. There is much more here than merely a daily report of movements around and about Muncie.

One of my Steely Dan favorites, which usually I associate with LAH, but putting her aside for tonight, I will not be going back to two of my old schools:

Have a good night, dear reader.
