Indiana Writing

All the 2022 Indiana Authors Awards Winners are featured in this short video. Just so you know, Hoosiers can write, do write, and so can you. All the writers remind us there are stories here, stories untold. Too bad the Glick Award was not around 40 years. I would hope anyone reading this who knows a potential Indiana writer will pass along this video to them.

Sara Hindi writes a review of Arab Indianapolis by Edward E. Curtis IV for Indiana Humanities. Who knew there was such a thing. See? An untold story.

Meanwhile in Lafayette, Teenage authors see their work appear with major retailers:

Pfleeger and Duncan said that one of their main goals in writing is to encourage other young, creative minds to achieve what they work towards. They each had thoughts to share when asked to give advice for prospective authors.

"We accomplished our dreams in fourth grade to be authors, but it didn't take a prodigy child to do that," Duncan said. "We just had an idea and we stuck with it...and we worked on it together. It sounds stupid but, you can do whatever (you want)."
