Reading About Zadie Smith

Okay, I just read Todd Cronan's Zadie Smith Finds Her Way to Class on the L. A. Review if Books site. I did this because I think Zadie Smith a brilliant writer of fiction and essays. I wrote about my infatuation with her here and here. The essay approaches her writing through the lens of Smith's political development.

But the essay also pricked my imagination on colonialism and classism and economic exploitation. It may do the same for you.
