I Like Proust

Every time I tell KH how I like Proust, he laughs.

I am still surprised I like Proust. He is a French writer, writing about a class and culture that World War One killed off, and that is far from industrial, working class Indiana.

But how he writes makes me care about his subject. That needs to be experienced by any reader and every writer.

I managed the first two novels in prison. I hope to get to the remainder this year.
