Abortion: So the Sky is Falling

Bg shock last night captured in this CNN headline: Supreme Court draft opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade published by Politico.

Shocking there is a leak.

Not so shocking the Supreme Court might overturn Roe v. Wade. But everyone acts like the sky is falling. This is a failure of politics.

It is a failure of the Democrat Party to emphasize the role of federal courts in the same way as the Republican Party.

It is a failure of the pro-choice people in relying only on the courts to protect a woman's right to choose.

How is this for a solution: the Democrats begin campaigning in every state legislative race, every federal Congressional race, for amending state and federal constitutions to protect a woman's reproductive rights. 

The language should start by prohibiting the government from requiring a woman to beat or not bear children. What limitations I leave to others.
