Censorship

 If you look at the articles under the Books label, I have other posts on the new hysteria for censorship. Some new articles to read: 

• From The Guardian: ‘It’s a culture war that’s totally out of control’: the authors whose books are being banned in US schools
• From NPR: Book bans and the threat of censorship rev up political activism in the suburbs

From an idealistic perspective, Americans should be big enough to accept opposing viewpoints. 

From a practical viewpoint: Americans cannot compete with the wilder world if they are ignorant morons.

Just say no to censorship.
