Blue Monday

I had a good day until around 5:30. Work went fine, I got a ride to the bus station. Getting home before 3 pm, I thought I could get some work done before the vespers service. Well, I guess I should have contacted my ride instead of assuming I had a ride. No vespers.

I made a McClure's trip and came back to do more work.

Downloading music from YouTube kept crashing my browsers. Yep, both of them.

Email remains a problem, too.

But I did get a couple of posts done.

News on the publishing side:

Thank you very much for submitting "Between the Dying and the Dead" to FICTION (https://www.fictioninc.com/). After careful consideration, the editors were not able to accept it for publication.

We would like to offer personalized letters or feedback but limitations of time and staff have made that impossible at the present. We wish you the best of luck in finding a journal to publish your writing. The editorial staff, including the editor-in-chief, Mark Jay Mirsky, welcomes critical response to past issues of the magazine if you wish to include any in future submissions or letters.

With best regards,

The Editors

“Reunion” was the reason for this one:
Thank you for sending us your work. We appreciated the chance to read it. Unfortunately, we could not find a place for it in our upcoming issues.

We wish you the best of luck in finding a home for your work.

Sincerely,

The Editors

Seems web pages are getting an overhaul.

First, The Rumpus. A literary magazine. This reminded me I have not been on the site for a while. Their newsletter seems to have disappeared, so I signed up for it, again.

The Indiana Democratic Party was the other.

The yellow cat abides. I am ready to sleep.

And a cramped solution to any blues:
