Federal Prisons Now Have Tablets

When I was in prison, I heard some state prisons were providing tablets for inmates.

Now, Fort Dix FCI has tablets:

Outside of that they now have tablets here.  Limited use, games-music-movies only as there is no Wi-Fi access but there is future use for video chat as well as e-books from what I've heard.  Had been holding off getting one but with about a year and a half I am making the plunge this week.  Other than that things are moving along.

A does the medium security Marion, Illionise prison:

as for the tablets they are ok we can rent movies for 71 or 94 units you get to watch the movie one and a half times i put all my music on mine so i don't need the mp3 player anymore games are ok they range any where from 24 to 71 units most are generic but over all not bad they have added new games a couple of times the movies update at least once a month and they only deleted movies one time that i know of so a lot of movies and most are pretty new. Has a calculator came with a bunch of free puzzle games they sell for 123 and the cover sells for 15 has a fm radio no am came with a sudoku game and solitaire. i think thats about it.

So, they cost inmates just like the mp3 players and telephone calls and email.
