Reading Romans 3 this morning, when this idea came to me that there should be a day when everyone stops, and we all pray and try for a day to meet the righteousness of our respective religions. Turn off the television, the video games, no suicide bombings, no rockets into Gaza, take food to the poor, get a long table and invite friends and neighbors and family over to eat and pray. Jew and Gentile, Muslim and Hindu, Sikh and Jain, and so on and so on. Might be interesting to see what would come of it all.
