Proofreading

I try to properly proofread. Still errors creep in. KH and DM have picked out mistakes when I think I have done a good job. Some I put down to haste, some to being so overly familiar with the text that I see what is supposed to be there, some to my eyes failing me on this small screen, and some to me being an idiot.

Reading Why You Should Proofread Again...and Again! from Paul Stewart may have pointed me to another culprit:

I didn't because I was in the moment and was feeling impulsive. I felt so strongly about it and wanted to publish it as soon as possible, so I didn't write something less emotional and less truthful.
