Rejections

I got three more to report. One rates an oops. The first two came in tonight. All are for "Colonel Tom."

While we are grateful to have had the opportunity to take a look at your work, we're sorry to say it isn't a good fit for us at this time. Please keep in mind that opinions are highly subjective, and just because a piece isn't right for us this issue doesn't mean it won't be perfect for someone else.

Unfortunately, your submission to shortstory.substack.com was not picked as this month's winner. That being said, please feel free to submit for the coming months as submissions are rolling throughout the year. 

Remember, a rejection this month doesn't mean a rejection in future months, and the prize money only gets bigger.

In addition, we're focused on printing work with a connection to the artistic project of BTS, which you're invited to explain in an email or a cover letter with your submission.

Chalk this up toy being eager or my time in prison but I had not a clue about BTS and had not the sense to google it.
