I was up around 4 am, meaning to do laundry. I worked on "The Pyschotic Ape" instead, then went back to sleep around 7. This was the start of my vacation day.
Then it was off to physical therapy at 10. I got out of there around 11. Then it was back here before heading off to Anderson. The Knights of Columbus no longer do their St. Patrick's Day celebration.; I got to see K for a few minutes. Then it was the courthouse, Memorial Park cemetery, and home.
Here, I napped from 4 pm until 6:30. Is there any wonder I accomplish nothing?
I went off to do my laundry after 8 pm. Home now, intending to end the day with Resident Alien.
The rejection:
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to read your work. Although "Problem Solving" is not the best fit for Write or Die Magazine at this time, we hope you will submit your work again soon.
As writers, we know how hard this process can be. Remember that a rejection is not a reflection of your work—there are so many circumstances that contribute to a rejection or an acceptance. Keep doing the work. Keep submitting!
Please note that due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot provide feedback as to why a story was not accepted.
Cheering you on,
The Write or Die Magazine Team
From NBC News:
- Chinese state media are celebrating Trump’s move to gut Voice of America and other U.S. government-funded news outlets that push back against authoritarian regimes.
Poem for the day: SHINE, PERISHING REPUBLIC (HILOBROW). Robinson Jeffers is one of the few poets I have read and really liked. Here, I like this line: "corruption/Never has been compulsory".
Speaking of corruption: Trump’s Defiance of the Courts Just Took a Radical Leap (The New Republic)
