Saurday, I binged on Netflix's The Recruit. It had comedy, and action, and some thought to it. That's why I did not update my supervised release notes yesterday.
I did get my laundry done, and there was a trip to the convenience store.
And I did talk for a while last night with MW.
I finished The Recruit this morning. After oversleeping, the outside was covered with snow, and inside my head was a raging headache. It has been cold and miserable here. However, not all that much snow. We have about an inch now. I called off my ride to church this morning because the snow plows had not been through. Considering that I am on a small stretch of 32, I took that as a bad sign.
After I finished with The Recruit and my emails, I had to do a laydown. The headache was connected to pain in my neck. That did not work, but a hot shower did.
Esoterica is back on WPRB, and I started listening to her shows.
I read Lauren Binnet in prison, so I had to read Perspectives by Laurent Binet review – a dazzling Renaissance romp Sounds like it would be a fun read.
Also read today: ‘Cancel culture? We should stop it. End of story’: Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie on backlash, writer’s block – and her new baby twins (The Guardian). She comes across as a smart woman, one well worth reading and listening to.
