Hits and Misses Continue

Wednesday was both a failure and a success.

I did not get my documents printed at FedEx. Frankly, I was tired when I got back from work. It had been a fairly good day there, for all of not getting off until 2 pm. But by the time I got back here, 3 pm, back pain had me wanting to go anywhere.

I did go out – but no further than McClure’s, and then only after a hot shower and application of heating pad to a bulge in the back.

I did get a subscription service set up for the blog. Not quite what I wanted, not what I had in the old day, but I have been having trouble configuring what reviewers find to be better services. You get what you pay for, and this was free. No more broadcasting emails by me to whoever I want to see the blog. Now, it will be people asking and me preparing a weekly digest. If anyone reading this wants to subscribe, just go to the menu on the right hand of the screen, where the second icon will lead you to where you can subscribe.

The phone rings and gives me no way of answering. In one way that is a problem and another not so much. It is not like I get all that many calls. I need to contact Gabb and maybe find a solution.

I talked at length with DM. It had been a while, and he helped me double-check the subscription services.

Some posts were done, but I have not been able to get at the pretrial detention journal. That will need be done in the next few days.

K and I corresponded about my questions about “Love Stinks.” My niece agrees with me. I await a response from Joel C. “Love Stinks” is on hold because I do not feel the need to write anything at the moment. I need to get food stamps taken care of, I need to work on the blog, I need to get at a query letter. These things, even bike riding, need to come first. The weekend will see me back at the novel.

It is now 6 am. I need to get dressed for work. The Wi-Fi just came back on. Timing has never been my strong suit.
