I went nowhere today, excluding the office for ice.
I read Colin Mustful's 5 Reasons to Create Your Own Personal Style Guide from History Through Fiction. There will be a longish post on this on January 22.
Then there was Phil Christman's Small-Town USA The mythical place that stifles and nourishes. I got another longish post on this for January 23.
The cleaning crew started late, so I piddled time away by watching most of The Pickup Artist, and trying to set up Google Drive.
I started on revising "True Love Ways Gone Astray" a bit before noon and finished around 5 pm. It is done. Eight years since I worked on it. I cut out huge swathes of pages. I think it is but, but I thought it was pretty good 8 years ago. This raises questions about my good taste and judgment.
Playlist for my rewrite:
(Want to hear Dylan sing "Blue Moon"? Play this.)
(Early John Lee Hooker)
(Koko TAylor 1971)
(Muddy Waters Live 1981)
(ABBA. Yeah, a weakness - what can I say?)
(Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran - separately - live)
Watched a little Shamus on Tubi.
Calling it a night. Work tomorrow.
