Indiana Writers: The Hall of Fame

I feel this may be a cheat, using Indianapolis Monthly's Hoosier Hall of Fame: The Indiana Authors from 2016. I cannot quibble with the list even while I wonder the relevance of James Whitcomb Riley and Gene Stratton Porter and Booth Tarkington to modern readers - or modern writers.

The Indiana Humanities website has a longer list here, of which I prefer. This list includes Ross Lockridge, Jr.
