Pretrial Detention Denied 12/12/2020

This news came through yesterday - I get no credit for the time spent at the Volunteers of America facility pretrial. Since the Order sending me there was entitled "Release Order" then I was released, not detained, and therefore not eligible for pretrial detention credit. I have not decided on whether I will appeal. I have also applied for compassionate release. That could get me home, mooting any appeal. On the other hand, staying here gives me more time for writing. I leave here May 5 - unless the Covid gets me there first
