I have read one of Carlos Fuentes' novels and a book of his essays. He is one of the great Latin American writers. Well worth by us in the United States. Meanwhile, I want to pass along The Guardian's collection of Fuentes related articles. May this whet your interest in reading his own works.

What a mess of things! Journals from 2010 and onward until today (still not got all the old ones on - yet). Stuff that just interests me - writing, books, music, politics.
